The VBC holds its Young Stock Show in conjunction with 'The Specialist & Rare Variety Open Show' held on week 26 each year in Coventry. Each pied class winner receives a rosette and either a Silver Badge Award if it is an Any Age bird or a Gold Badge Award if it is a Young Bird. In addition the Best Dominant, Recessive , Clearflight and Dark Eyed Clear Any Age and Young Bird in all the sections receives a cash special.
Other Specialist & Rare Variety shows receive patronage which reflects the number of Pieds benched the previous season.
